Mosėdis is one of the most beautiful, the most visited and arranged towns of Samogitia, also known as “the capital of the stones”. Mosėdis is famous thanks to the National V. Intas Museum of stones founded by doctor Vaclovas Intas. Intas mansion is very attractive. It was the founding of the museum. Church of Archangel is located in the center of town, is one of the most beautiful churches in this region. The house in which 1895-1898 lived Juozas Tumas Vaižgantas also is located in Mosėdis.
